[SOLVED] How can I see individual tabs for open applications?

Hi everyone,

I just upgraded my distro (AVLinux) and the new panel (4.12.2) no longer shows tabs for open applicatons, there is just a clickable icon that opens a menu.

This is extremely inconvenient for my workflow, I really need to be able to click back and forth quickly between windows.  Is there a way to enable it?  I have tried searching the forums but don't really know what keywords to search for.

Thanks

Ok after some more googling I figured it out.  I had to install a 'Window Buttons' item in the panel instead of the 'Window Menu' item.

Leaving this up in case someone else has the same problem.

Re: [SOLVED] How can I see individual tabs for open applications?

This comes up frequently, and it's pretty annoying that Xfce has buried that important option in Window Buttons--which no one knows about, is not on the default menu, and whose name means exactly nothing to the average user--when Window Manager Tweaks is already available and would be the obvious place to look.

I know: I could post a bug/enhancement report...
