Mousepad not responding after login (but working on lock-screen)

Not sure it's Xfce 4.14 related or a Manjaro 20.0.1 issue, but lately, when going into standby and logging back in, mostly my mousepad does not respond (I have a Lenovo P1). The same issue sometimes also sometimes happens right after booting.

Logging out and logging back into a new user session mostly solves the issue.

When the issue happens and the mousepad does not respond while logged-in, then mousepack always responds while locking the screen on the lock-screen. When logging back in the mousepad still does not respond until logging out and back into a new user session.
