Can I keep each workspace name with the right one after add or remove?

Sorry for butchered title, there's a character limit and I had to compress it.

I'm trying to create a setup where I have a different workspace for every computing task that I am working on at the same time, name them according to what is placed in them, have them displayed in a panel to create the appearance of tabs, and close them when I'm done. However, I ran into a problem with setting that up: If I delete a workspace, the workspace that was to the right of it will have the name of the workspace that was deleted, the workspace two to the right will have the name that the workspace one to the right had, etc. Essentially, the workspaces are shifted left (as desired), but not the names. I have tried to visualize it below:

Workspace:	1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9
Name:		1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9

		After deleting workspace 6
Workspace:	1  2  3  4  5  7  8  9
Name:		1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8

		What I want to happen after deleting workspace 6

Name:		1  2  3  4  5  7  8  9

Also, when I add a workspace adjacent to the current one, the opposite problem appears: The existing workspaces are shifted to the right (as expected), but not the names.

		After adding adjacent to 6
Workspace:	1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9
Name:		1  2  3  4  5  6  8  9  10

		What I want to happen after adding adjacent to 6

		where X is some reasonable default, like "Workspace"

Is there a way, either built in or through some kind of extension, to achieve what I'm trying to do?

Hello and welcome.

What version of Xfce are you using?

And what process/command are you using to insert or delete a workspace? Using the tools provided by Xfce on 4.14 (the workspaces applet or the desktop menu), it just seems to add or remove from the end of the list.

I am on 4.14, using a keyboard shortcut bound to the options in Settings > Window Manager > Keyboard. I would assume that's the built in functionality.

Ok, I can see the same when using the keyboard shortcuts. I would suggest creating a bug report.
