Xfce4 startup

This is not a real problem but a "ugly  action". If I set-up two  toolbar, one top and second below, when XFCE4 start first appear a gray rectangularsr followed by replaced toolbar. It's normal?. MY theme is Nuix, other gtk theme not  work correctly by nm-appllet and volume icon on systray.

Re: Xfce4 startup

Which version of Xfce?
Are you using an older, slower computer?
What model of video card and driver are you using?

What exactly do you mean by "not work correctly"? What happens with the systray items? What are you expecting will happen?

Do you mean Numix? Does it have a gtk-3.0 component? Try running the following:

ls -l /usr/share/theme/Numix | grep gtk

Abaut nm-applet the problem is gtk  theme on menu, it's the same by icon of  volume control.

Can you post or link to a picture/screenshot?

Re: Xfce4 startup

Can you post back the results of:

xfce4-panel -V

In your other thread, I suggested changing the theme back to defaults for testing. Does this make a difference for the panel icons?

Re: Xfce4 startup

Does reverting the theme back to its default (as your other thread) make a change for the better here as well?
