Mousepad automatic find/search

Whenever I search something in mousepad, and then switch a tab, it automatically also searches that document. When I switch back, it also searches the first tab again. I often search for something and then read and scroll a lot from there. This way I keep going back to a search result and it is driving me nuts. Is there any way to turn this off? Or do I have to remember to close the find box every time?

To be released in Mousepad 0.5.5 soon, but until then you should think about closing the search bar.
