Thunar Actions inside a Remote Folder

Hi guys,

I have a remote webdav folder that I mounted through Thunar because davfs2 isn't available on FreeBSD, however this is not an optimal condition since when you are inside a remote folder looks like custom actions aren't available; for instance I have to edit many text files and I do it with Micro but since I can not "open a terminal here" my workflow is broken, actually also double-clicking or "open with Mousepad" do not work albeit dragging in the file into the latter works, but this a very poor workaround.

Any recommendation is welcomed! Thanks!

Which version of thunar and gvfs?

I have a webdav owncloud folder mounted through thunar/gvfs and custom actions work fine (I don't have the davfs2 driver installed). Gvfs supports webdav natively. I use: "davs://username@location/path" to do the mount directly in thunar.

Regarding Mousepad, this kind of problems should be fixed since version 0.5.1.

Hi, some info:

- OS: FreeBSD 13 ("latest" repository)
- Thunar: 4.16.8
- GVFS: 1.46.2
