Which of the four Linux sleep states are intended by Suspend?

1. Suspend-to-Idle
2. Standby
3. Suspend-to-RAM
4. Hibernation
My distro does not have the power management utility built-in and pressing the Suspend button on my logout gui does not do anything, but I believe it would if set-up properly.
