Featherpad scrollbar slider color

In Featherpad 1.1.1, when I use any dark GTK3 theme the scrollbar's slider button blends in so well with the theme that it's difficult to see. How would I change its color?

Re: Featherpad scrollbar slider color

Featherpad is a QT program, so the question would be how to change a QT element in GTK3 dark mode. Do you use any method to sync QT and GTK program themes? See: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Unifor … plications for an Arch-based discussion on uniform look between the toolkits.

As my understanding of QT is limited, I'm not sure if its possible to change an element like the scrollbar via an override file like GTK can with gtk.css.

Re: Featherpad scrollbar slider color

I think you can modify any Qt theme with Qtcurve theme engine. It's on many default repos.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know how to do it myself, but there's a bunch of info like this (in spanish) and this.

Good luck!

Thanks. I took the easy way out and installed gedit and will use it instead of featherpad (which I didn't realize was a QT app.)

How about mousepad? It's Xfce's lightweight text editor. It has had alot of work done to it lately and is quite the capable alternative to featherpad/gedit.

Yeah, that's better! I like it more than gedit and it doesn't have the practically invisible scrollbar slider like Featherpad. Thanks!!
