Ladies and Gentlemen Hello!

Thanking you for your hard work and the maintenance of Xfce.

This is my first time using your DE, despite the fact that in Linux i have a decade of moving. Throughout my journey i mainly used WM standalone.

So, It was the right time for me to pay a visit, where better and earlier starting with Xfce? I only have 20 days here, so far in general everything is fine. Simplicity and lighter usages attracted my attention.

For sporadic requests or help, I believe we'll read through the topics.

Best Regards!

Nili

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen Hello!

Hi, thank you smile 20 days i mean to Xfce. A day more or less makes no difference on a desktop environment.

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen Hello!

why would you even bother to give it a number.  i go with the "as long as it takes" philosophy.

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen Hello!

Usually people say i just registered today, but have a year using X system. I believe sets a date to given an understanding if he/she's is new or experienced.

In my case, i'm new to Xfce. I haven't used before regardless of the fact that I have 10 years in Linux, I know many WM very well because I have only worked with them.

I will hang on as long it seems reasonable to me. It is the appropriate philosophy In particular on a WM hop when i don't stay long, i don't see a reason to set a date when i designed it to run quickly, tests or out of curiosity.

I don't know if I'm clear, I'm open for other questions or doubt.

BR!

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen Hello!

sounds to me that your quest is a lot more than just to see if Xfce is to be your display environment of choice.

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen Hello!

I came in to hang out for a long time on Xfce. Out of all DE's i tried just before joining, Xfce seemed the most suitable.
