xfdesktop issue

xfdesktop (version 4.14.2) don't accept reload command. Im trying:
xfdesktop --reload = not working
xfdesktop -R = not working
killall -HUP xfdesktop = works for a couple of days and stopped
xfdesktop -Q && xfdesktop -R = works for a couple of days and stopped
Other options works fine e.g: xfdesktop -A, xfdesktop -V ..

How to safely reload xfce desktop without logout?
Is there any keyboard shortcut can do the trick like "Ctrl + Alt + Esc" in Cinnamon desktop? ()im not talking about F5 key).
Any help will be appreciated.

xfdesktop --reload = not working

How to safely reload xfce desktop without logout?

What are you expecting to happen? What do you want this command to do?

As mentioned in manpage, I'm using the -R / --reload flag to reload xfdesktop settings specially for 2 reasons:
- A new custom action (created with Thunar gui) not showed up in the right click context menu until i logout.
- Create a launcher on desktop not appear or/and not executable until i reload xfdesktop or logout.

This is a known bug. See https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfdesktop/-/issues/25. There is a patch there if you are able to test it. Might also be a good idea to post there to bring it to a developer's attention.

This one is odd. It should work automatically. Can you explain the steps you take to create this launcher?
