desktop background

Hi,

I am new to linux and xfce. Between 3 major desktop manager I've chosen xfce for it's documentation and
well structured  package and minimal dependencies. Building xfce from sources went smooth without any problems.
I had a small compiler error due (gcc and not g++) in : glade-private.h@libglade-2.6.1 in
'GtkTooltips* '-> 'struct GtkTooltips*'.

I am playing around with themes and stuff.
My question is:

Where the default image background file link is stored when the background image is
changed. I could not find the config file that stores the default background image / user.

Also where I can found a good themes file tutorials that explains the configuration files and locations
and how the xfce4 uses and reads them (order, sintax).

Thank you.

Re: desktop background

In 4.6, most settings are stored in xfconf (Settings-> Settings Editor).  For some good xfwm theme info, check http://wiki.xfce.org/howto/xfwm4_theme
