[Solved] XFCE4 panel issue
- XFCE 4.6.1
Out of nowhere XFCE-Panel now appears as a normal Window with maximum, close button and so on. What is controlling this behavior so that I can change this back. Please let me know if any more details would help.

I see tha you got no answer. I can help you with that. xfce-panel 4.6.3 fixed that problem. For all you who use xfce 4.4. and changed glib here is the patch that you have to implement and then just recompile the panel: http://bugzilla.xfce.org/attachment.cgi?id=2759
I had that problem. The fix works like a charm....
