I'm running Arch Linux with Xfce 4.8 (Thunar 1.2.0).
I have a USB external HDD that I encrypted with LUKS. However, I only use a keyfile (no passphrase), so I can't mount it by clicking on it in Thunar (it initially shows up as 250 GB Encrypted). That's all well and good.
I made a udev rule to recognize it, run cryptsetup luksOpen -d [KEYFILE], and then mount it with udisks --mount /dev/mapper/secretdrive.
Here's the problem. It will show up in Thunar's Shortcut Pane (with the actual filesystem label), but only for about 2 seconds before vanishing. While it's still there, I can actually click on it to take me to /media/secretdrive. Even stranger, the mount DOES appear in the Shortcut Pane in the GTK open dialog, and it also appears without any problems in the Shortcut Pane of Nautilus.
Any idea if I'm doing something wrong, or is this a possible Thunar bug? Thanks all, Xfce 4.8 is rockin'.
