Gnome Window Applets w/ XfApplet

I have been using the Window Applets package, by uni4dfx, found at Gnome-Look.org.  Being Gnome applets, I was actually surprised that they worked at all, but here are my problems:

The Window Title applet only displays a certain width, then cuts off the rest of the title.  It also uses the wrong color when it attempts to match the system's theme.  It DOES still function as a titlebar, however; it still allows double-clicking maximize/restore functionality.

The Window Buttons work great if you disable XFCE's desktop icons.  However, by default, if there are no windows to focus upon, the "close" button will execute the logout action.  The simplest workaround (that I know of, anyhow) is to disable the desktop icons.

I am guessing these are simply XfApplet bugs, but I'd appreciate any advice.

Forgot to mention: Xubuntu 11.04 using Compiz instead of xfwm4
