[Solved] (Re-)Moving desktop icons

How do I move or remove desktop icons?
It is a dual-boot laptop (Win 7 & XFCE-Fedora 16).
Particularly do not want the Win 7 System Reserve partition visible or even accessible.

Thanks for any advise.

Righ click on the desktop, select desktop parameters then icon tab. If you want no icon at all,  select "none" in "icon type" menu. If you only want to remove  drives icons, untick them below "default icons"

Re: [Solved] (Re-)Moving desktop icons

Try : right-click on the desktop, then Desktop Settings ... >> Icons tab
You can set "Icon Type" to None or set it to  File/Launcher icons then check/uncheck which icons you want to show/hide in the Default Icons.

Xfce is NOT Xubuntu. Bugs in Xubuntu don't mean that Xfce is buggy ...
