make xfce pannel directory menu work with nautilus

hi

I have just replaced thunar with nautilus as my default file manager and it works fine for launching into home but using the directory menu plug-in on the pannel to navigate and then open a directory does not work properly. It works fine for files but if a navigate to a folder it will open in nautilus but nautilus will always defaults to the home directory. Obviously the name of the directory that is passed to thunar from the directory menu plug-in is not being recognized properly by nautilus, how do I fix this?
