Showing symbols on desktop when mounting devices over network

Hi,

I am new to XFCE. I've installed XFCE 4.10 on my ubuntu 13.04 and now I try to configure the behavior.

Well, I miss one thing: Sometimes I mount some devices from a server through a vpn-tunnel. Gnome showed automatically after mounting a drive-symbol on the deskop.

Can I configure XFCE that it does it too?

I found the way to configure the cd/dvd/usb-stick (etc.) behavior. But not for network-drives.

I hope you understand my bad english translation.
