CopyAgent Icon Missing in Mint XFCE Desktop Panel Notification Area

Greetings:

I am running Mint Rebecka 17.1 32bit XFCE on a flash drive. Runs super. I installed CopyAgent from Copy.com as I usually do with my other drives to backup by and installed Copy on my Home folder as the instructions hint (though I'd rather run it underneath Home to grab other user accounts), but once I launched it the CopyAgent icon went missing from the panel's notification area to indicate that that Copy is running even the notification area's submenu lists CopyAgent is running. I rebooted and reinstalled Copy but no dice. I can't tell whether this is a flaw of XFCE or Copy. I shot a trouble ticket to Copy but they've long had major customer service problems though the product is great. I'd like to know if others can repeat this issue and their remedies if any.
