Hi
I do not know if it is normal or not, but when I login xfce, programs that had opened earlier in the session are reopened in new session, afther shutdown, they are saved between sessions in any way, I want to know is if there is a way to prevent this.
Thanks Pedro Peixoto

When you logout, untick "save session between connection" in the logout dialog box.

So have you tried preferences>startup and sessions, "Main" tab, untick "save session automatically when closing" ?

I have a similar issue
I've disabled the "save sessions on logout" dialog
I've also removed the contents of ~/.cache/sessions
The second step temporarily resolved my issue, but it's still saving my session every time I log out.
Is there a permanent way to disable saving sessions?
