Clock [Solved]

<Beginning of Rant>I am so tired of clicking the wrong button because of misguided programming.  I opened my clock from the systray area and when I was done with the settings, I simply clicked the right button.  But that is Close!!!!   Dumb!!!  It should have been Save or Okay, but the darn thing closed the app!!!!  <End of Rant>

Now I can't find how to get the clock back.  I can't find the clock app and it is not listed in the startup list like Clipman and others, or under Accessories either.  So I'm lost.  Finding it is probably pretty simple, but it is not intuitive to find.

Can someone please tell me how to start the clock again?

If restarting the panel doesn't put it back with the terminal command

xfce4-panel -r

then right click on the panel and navigate to Panel > Add New Items... then click on DateTime then Add.

The reset did not take; I'd tried that before.  (Strange.)

You idea to add item worked fine.  It did look a little different from the original, but its okay.  And I'm grateful.

You're quite welcome. I know in Mint, if you want to try altering the appearance, you may need to follow the steps that I linked to. Just the alteration is what's causing the clock to disappear. Clicking on Properties then clicking Close doesn't make it disappear if no changes were made.

Also, you may end up with 2 clocks after your next reboot/logout-login. If so, right click on the new different one and click Remove.
