Debian 12 Can start XFCE once and then have to delete config

Hello there,
I'm done with a fresh install of Debian 12 with Xfce desktop.
Using LightDM and choosing Xfce option I can start only once.
After logout, loging in shows only wallpaper.

I have to :
rm -r ~/.config/xfce4

and reboot to be again able to start a session.

And do the same next time...

This is not optimal of course. ;-)

Any hint please ?

Cordialement,
Best Regards,
Stéphane

Do you happen to have more than 1 monitor?
In the past when I had multiple monitors on one machine I'd get wall paper on all screens and the login would follow the mouse to any screen, but not all.

No, there is only one monitor and no additional port where I could connect another one.

Indeed, i only need to :
rm -r ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfwm4.xml

before trying to connect.

Still not optimal though.

Hum... That works after a reboot.
If I only disconnect and connect again, still I get the wallpaper. :-(
