How long to stay logged in

Today it took me about an hour to write a message for the Desktop forum, and by the time it was ready I had been logged out.

Update: I hadn't been here for a while and had to get a new password. After logging in I went to change the password. Initially the menu said that the password had to be at least six characters, so I entered a password of seven characters, and when I submitted it I got an error message that the password had to be at least nine characters. OK, it's a trivial matter, but should be added to the 'not urgent' to-do list.

Today it took me about an hour to write a message for the Desktop forum, and by the time it was ready I had been logged out.

In the meantime, a person could always write his/her message in a text editor, check spelling and grammar then post the contents of the message.
