audio file metadata in thunar

Hello, is it possible to make the metadata information of audio files appear in Thunar?  artist, album, genre etc.  I tried installing thunar media tags plugin but it didn't help.  I use mx linux xfce.  I would like to get a result like this:

Hello and welcome.

Not currently possible. See: https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/thunar/-/issues/585.

Re: audio file metadata in thunar

Thank you very much, I read the posts but I didn't understand much. I've just been using Linux. If anything, can I install Nemo in the xfce and use it instead of thunar? Do I run into problems if I do? I tried to install Dolphin but immediately encountered visualization problems.

Re: audio file metadata in thunar

Nemo should install fine but will bring in other supporting packages. Dolphin was likely an issue because it uses the QT toolkit where as XFCE4 is GTK. There are ways to improve the look but it's not perfect. Nemo uses GTK so it shouldn't be an issue.
