All my menus are on the wrong side

I will explain this further. any one of the configuration menus I open up like obmenu or obconf or lxappearance or even Thunar. All of them have the top menus such as File, Edit, View, Go, Help, are all on the right side of the window and they are all the reverse of what I just type over there <-.  Even input fields have the cursor blinking on the RIGHT side of the input field.

This is driving me whako.  Is there any way to change this? I have looked everywhere.
