gnome-online-accounts for Xfce?

I'm relatively new to Xubuntu/Xfce but just love it! However I wonder if something similar to gnome-online-accounts in Ubuntu is considered for Xfce? Would need it for synchronizing Google contacts with Evolution. I could just install GOA from the repositories but then it will pull in a ton of dependencies for ubuntu/unity which would risk other problems. Evolution maintainers points to GOA as the way to authenticate with Google, and I guess online accounts will be even more common in the future.

Have anybody installed GOA in Xubuntu? Thoughts?

Darn....found your post googling and thought here someone that can answer my question but alas....I have the same problem as you.
More google-fu then.

Cheers,
John
