[SOLVED] New themes don't display properly

Hi,
so I have a fresh installation of Xubuntu 15.10 and tried to customize it a little. I like dark themes so I tried to install some of them, like Ambiance, Menda-dark and Glare Yin. The Window decorations work fine, but when I set the theme in the Appearence setup, only something changes, like the panel. However the whiskers menu doesn't and thunar looks like on some default settings.
The themes are extracted in ~/.local/share/themes and worked formerly when using Manjaro XFCE or Xubuntu 14.04.
Can anybody help me?

GTK2 cant read themes from ~/.local/share/themes! copy them to ~/.themes
