Clicking on Notification Icon

I have a notification icon in my panel. If I try to access it to change the notification area's settings I have a bugger of a time. Usually, I manage to access one of the current application icons.

So, is there a trick to this? Or am I just ham-fisted?

Re: Clicking on Notification Icon

You're right - its not an easy one to get. My panel is at the top of the screen. I find I have more luck if I position my mouse cursor right at the top of the screen above the notification plugin. Sometimes I just give up and go the long way.

What is the "long way"?

Re: Clicking on Notification Icon

Right click the panel, select Panel > Panel Preferences, go to the Items tab, double-click the Notification plugin.

Re: Clicking on Notification Icon

Okay ... now I'm happy.

Never knew one could do it this way. Very useful to know.

Thanks.
