FN brightness keys arch linux xfce

hi all,

i use a asus zenbook ux305ca with arch linux and xfce. almost everything works fine, exception the brightness function keys. Any idea how i can resolve this?

Hello and welcome.

Here are some Arch links which might help get you started:

- The Asus UX305 wiki page that links to this discussion page that is talking about this particular model. Doesn't look like the backlight issue has been solved yet. I'd look at the first link to see if you can get manual control of the brightness interface and then you might be able to write scripts to control it. Otherwise, you may have to wait until support is added to the kernel.
