My panel is stuck in the middle of the screen and I cant move it to the bottom.

I don't know what distro you are using, but normally you would right-click an empty place on the panel > Panel > Panel Preferences. Then uncheck the box in front of the words "Lock panel" so that it is empty. Close, and you will see small hatched areas at the ends of the panel, which will allow you to drag it to wherever you want. Once it is located as you like, go back into Panel Preferences and lock the Panel again.
