How to lock panel items, so they stay in same place ?

I have just installed a latest Debian based distro, it came with Openbox as a minimal GUI.
Added an XFCE4 meta-package and now I can select XFCE desktop from login menu.

Moved the panel to the bottom of the screen, made it 1 row,  100 % wide, locked.
Added panel plugins: menu, clock, volume, weather, etc....

Would like to lock panel's items in a specific location, like clock/date at the right corner.
However, plugins on the right side are moving by themselves, based on how many apps I have open on the desktop.
Is there any way to lock each plugins in a certain position ?
Thanks!

you need to add a spacer before the element(if you click on the spacers settings you can let it expand)

thank you for your reply
adding a separator and expand it did the trick
now the main panel items (menu, date/time, volume, weather) are "locked" in place
