Column Arrangement in File Manager

Is there a way to set a default for the display order of the various columns?

I am using Xubuntu 14.04 64 bit with all latest upgrades.

Re: Column Arrangement in File Manager

Go to View - Configure columns, you can add, remove and rearrange them there.

Thank you very much.  I can't believe I missed that.  I kept looking in preferences.  Thanks again.

Odd.  I don't have a "Configure columns" option in my Thunar menu.

Re: Column Arrangement in File Manager

You need the menubar turned on and the view option set to Detailed List.
