Hello

Greetings.  I've been using XFCE in Xubuntu for a number of years.  I've recently put together an XFCE Panel plugin to display basic, formattable, updatable text information that I'd like to share with anybody who may be interested in such a thing.  It mimics in some ways the behavior of the weather plugin, but is intended to be much more generic.  I've put it in a github repository at:

It's still more or less a work in progress, but eventually it may be mature enough to find a permanent home within XFCE.
