problem saving any apearance - all resets to default after reboot

hi,
when I change any thing like adding a new item to the panel or  changing  Default font, it all resets to default after a restart!
is there any solution for this?

It would help if you could provide some more information:

--name of the distro you are using
--version of Xfce
--live or installed?

Offhand, it sounds like you are not logging into your own account; is there a pull-down menu on the login page you can use?

I'm using manjaro
xfce 4.12
installed.

Yes, there is a pull-down menu with 4 item :   testuser (which i made it with the command  useradd -m -G wheel -s /bin/bash testuser)
                                                                  newuser which i made it with the command  useradd newuser
                                                                  my own user (which i made during installation)
                                                                  other

+ I messed up my desktop once and replaced the xfce4 folder's config files with testuser's!
