After spending lots of time I got the wireless internet connection and the bluetooth connection of my Broadcom 43142 built-in chip finally working.
I wrote a step by step file of what I did, primarily for myself (to be able to repeat it again in the future), but perhaps this might be of some interest for other users too.
I can't explain every step though, because I have not enough knowledge to do that, but noted most of the url's where I found the information I used.
Should I post this step-by-step file somewhere and if so, where?

Good for you. I think you ought to post it somewhere, but don't see how the Xfce Forum would be appropriate since it has nothing to do with those systems.
I would suggest it would be better to post it on the forum for your distro.
MX-23 (based on Debian Stable) with our flagship Xfce 4.18.

The installation is on Fedora Xlce.
Well, I'll better go to Fedora then...
