Stop window moving to workspace

Hi all,

I'm a recent convert to XFCE (refugee from Plasma 5; just got tired of all the bugs and papercuts).

When I work, I like to keep some apps on a separate workspace to avoid distraction (mail, twitter, etc). I also like to switch quickly to that workspace to check if something over there needs my attention. On XFCE, if I use Ctrl-Alt-End to switch to the next workspace, the window that's currently focused travels to the workspace with me.

Is there a way to keep it from doing that, apart from clicking on the desktop first?

Thanks!

The shortcuts for that are set in Settings - Window Manager - Keyboard. Ctrl + Alt + End is set to move the window and there is an option to 'move to next workspace'. You can remove the shortcut from the first and add it to the second to get what you want.

Re: Stop window moving to workspace

Thank you very much! The option was "Next Workspace."
