Hi there,
apologies if the question has already been answered somewhere, but I have searched extensively without result.
I am currently using peppermint 7 with xfce and nm-applet. However, the mouseover shows no tooltip.
I wish to show the wifi connection strength end wireless device or the ethernet device or a "no connection" message (whichever is the case).
Is it possible at all?
Thanks
Colosseum

I get those automatically with Xfce 4.12 and nm-applet 1.0.8.
What versions do you have installed?
MX-23 (based on Debian Stable) with our flagship Xfce 4.18.

Jerry,
Things are not so simple with Peppermint: it uses LXDE as graphical desktop but the panel is XFCE ... so a few things do not seem to work simple "out of the box".
In short, Peppermint 7 panel is build upon xfce4-panel (4.12) and nm-applet 1.0.8 and yet I get no tooltips.
I was only hoping to see if anyone else in this forum had used Peppermint 7 and found a solution for it. I asked in the Peppermint forum, but they do not seem to know why things do not work.
