Problem with custom menus

Hi

xfce 4.12.0 on Slackware 14.2

I have been working on a custom applications menu for our studioware applications.

The layout:

Top Level................Submenu
Studioware Audio....Amps...............App1
.............................Core................App1
.............................|.....................App2
.............................|.....................App3
etc.

The problem is that even with applications in the lowest level, the top level and subsequent menu entries don't show. They only appear if I put an application in the submenu level.

Here is my xfce-applications-menu: http://www.r0t.uk/paste/p/knnEra45.html

Any ideas how I can fix this so that as soon as one of the applications in the lowest level are installed the menu shows? It use to do this in previous versions of xfce, but since I upgraded to Slackware 14.2 the menu stopped working as it did.

Any help gratefully received.

Re: Problem with custom menus

Hello and welcome.

This is a known bug. A fix was issued but the garcon package has not yet been officially released with the fix.
