Contol gamma and brightness in desktop pc.

I am using the latest version of Xubuntu. The new version of Xubuntu doesnot support AMD Catalyst Control center,( Which is useful in controling gamma and others). So now I am unable to control brightness in my desktop pc. The power manager plugin also not showing brightness control as shown in laptop. Please extend this function to desktop pc also. Does xfce have anything like kgamma. Controling display brightness is also a basic desktop need. Please help me to control brightness.

Re: Contol gamma and brightness in desktop pc.

This thread may help, where the solution came with using xbacklight:

The discussion in the Arch Wiki is a good guide to the general question:

MX-23 (based on Debian Stable) with our flagship Xfce 4.18.
