Change Login Screen using the terminal

Hi all,

Is there a way to change the Login Screen of a Linux using only the terminal?

http://segfault.linuxmint.com/wp-conten … 140601.png

I want to change from GTK to MDModern.

My distro is Linux Mint 18 Xfce.

Thanks.

Re: Change Login Screen using the terminal

Xfce doesn't come with a login manager. It is something that your distro would add for you. You may be better served asking this question at the Linux Mint forums.

Re: Change Login Screen using the terminal

I did the changing modifying the "/etc/mdm/mdm.conf" file.

Changing the lines below:
[greeter]

HTMLTheme=MDModern
