Names of folders on the desktop are crooked...

Hello guys, I have a really annoying problem here.
I don't know if this is an already reported bug, but I'll post it here now...
So as you might know because of the title, the folders and documents on my desktop are crooked. That means that for example the icon of my Home folder is much more on the right than the name ''Home''.
It looks like this:

         (Icon)
  Home

And if I mark the folders with my cursor, I can see the real names centered in black behind the not centered names.
And if I pull a folder to somewhere else, only half of the not centered name comes with it, the other half stays at it's location from before for like 15 seconds.

I hope someone is willing to help me.

Re: Names of folders on the desktop are crooked...

This was a bug introduced by the gtk-engines-murrine package. Here is the launchpad bug report. Apparently it has been fixed.

There are also posted workarounds if you can't update the package.

Thank you. I thought I'd have a problem with my graphics card.
