Terminal just changes it's settings

I just posted a thread about a problem like 30 seconds ago and now I have a new problem...
My terminal has just went to the standard settings. I don't know why or how but it is.
And now, if I type ''leafpad /root/.bashrc'' nothing is displayed in the bashrc...
Also my browser has just gone to it's standard settings...
Hopefully someone can help me.
