Terminal not taking up full screen when maximized.

There exists small spaces to the right and bottom. It's not the end of the world, just mildly annoying. Doesn't happen for all windows, only some select terminal emulators. Happesn for XFCE/GNOME, doesn't happen for Termite, and others.

It doesn't however happen when I open xfce4 terminal within gnome.

Can you play with show/hide scrollbar, menubar, window borders settings - does it change anything?
