Desktop icons stay on the left monitor

Hello!

I am using bigger primary monitor with my laptop. So the left one is the secondary laptop monitor, and the right one is the bigger primary one. But the desktop icons show up on the left monitor.

Is there away to fix this?

Unfortunately no. There is this existing bug report that you may wish to add to.

A lightweight solution is to use thunar as the desktop :
Specify settings with devilspie or wmctrl .

A eavier but quicker solution is to use nautilus or pcmanfm as the desktop .

Or, you could put another panel with desired shortcuts to documents on it, unlock it, position the panel where appropriate and set its transparency as you see fit.
