Hi !
Although what is really great with this desktop are the workspaces, which I use a lot of.
But organization needs to be better, I think. In LXCE, at least as I remember, there
is a plugin, which just displays the workspace's name. This is a good thing, because
one can faster recognized "where I am". Wether workspace names or previews are
the last word. Additionally, a keyboard shortcut, which could move a complete
workspace right or left, would be a great win. Onother thing would be a colored
frame for a workspace. For example, if you concentrate some admin tasks into
a workspace, giving it a red border could give you a good hint.
For the future, a workspace could have a named collection
of namespaces (means: network, cpu etc.).
This enables a higher security in isolation programs. This might
be a separate network scope or memory restriction.
Just my two cents ;-)
Regards,
Manfred

Xfce can also display workspace names. In the Workspace Switcher plugin's properties, uncheck "Show miniature view".

Do you mean switch workspaces via keyboard shortcut? Xfce does that. I believe the default is Ctrl+Alt+<ARROW_LEFT> or <ARROW_RIGHT>. You can double-check the actual keyboard shortcut in Settings Manager > Window Manager > Keyboard.
For the other items, you will need to create enhancement requests.
