Weird language problems

Hi altogether,

after recently successfully installing a new linuxfromscratch-system, I'm encountering a weird language locale problem with xfce4.
Situation: locale is set to de_DE.iso885915@euro in any usual shell config file - profile (systemwide and user), bashrc (systemwide and user), via localectl at boottime.
Everything works fine when starting xfce4 via startxfce4 from virtual console. But when starting via lxdm, I only get german locale on desktop and for apps started in a terminal window (recognized eg. in menu language). Any app started via panel-buttons show up in english locale.
Where is the difference in the settings?
Certainly the main reason is the influence of lxdm. But as I didn't find any solution via extensive websearch on a whole lot of lists, I hoped to find some guru here knowing the difference and having some advice.

Thanx in advance.
