force Thunar to generate thumbnails recursively for a directory

Hello. I am using Thunar to organize 500 GB of photos on a SMB share.

Is there a way to programatically have Thunar generate thumbnails for all pictures in all folders recursively? This way when I start to organize the photos I don't have to wait for them to generate?

I don't really know...

At first I thought that this thread would be of help, but after digging a bit more I think you should go nuclear and create some kind of service file following the D-Bus ThumbnailerSpec.

But I don't really know, it's just a hunch, good luck!
