Thunar's "Date Modified" column too wide

In the Detailed view, Thunar's Date Modified column is almost twice as wide as it needs to be. It's the last column displayed, and there's no way to reduce its width, and it causes a horizontal scroll bar to appear if I shrink the window's width. I have the automatic column width setting unchecked. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks.

Re: Thunar's "Date Modified" column too wide

Not here, but I moved it (View > Configure columns) to the left after size b/c I use it a lot to find files. Maybe if you move it it will start behaving...

Re: Thunar's "Date Modified" column too wide

I thought you had a great idea there. I moved the column, then shrunk it, then moved it back. But it went back to the large width again.

Then I thought, maybe it was simply taking up available room. So I shrunk the window, getting ready to repeat the above procedure. But this time no horizontal scrollbar appeared. Doesn't seem consistent, but the problem seems to be gone for now. I'll watch it further.

Thanks.
