light-locker-command problem

Using Xubuntu 14.04.   Entering inhibit commands with light locker command gives these error messages:

                       marsdenf@marsdenf-Z170X-Gaming-3:~$ light-locker-command -i

** (light-locker-command:8952): WARNING **: Unknown option -i
marsdenf@marsdenf-Z170X-Gaming-3:~$ light-locker-command --inhibit

** (light-locker-command:8953): WARNING **: Unknown option --inhibit
marsdenf@marsdenf-Z170X-Gaming-3:~$

Is there any command to deactivate screen saver, for example when I am watching a video.   I want to use it in a shell script.

Re: light-locker-command problem

No, it can only lock the screen from command with -l option. However, you can quickly access its settings by using

light-locker-settings

in a custom launcher with this command argument and slide the screensaver off or back on when needed.
