xfce4-terminal menu screwed up

I updated to xfce4-terminal-0.8.3, and now the menu bar (FileEditViewTerminalTabsHelp) appears without spacing, just as I typed it.

Bug? Configuration error on my part? Any ideas gratefully received!

Theresa

Thanks
Theresa

Re: xfce4-terminal menu screwed up

Xfce4-terminal is now a GTK3 application so you need to select a theme that is designed for the version of GTK3 that you are using.

Re: xfce4-terminal menu screwed up

I have encountered the same issue while moving from debian jessie to stretch, but I can't easily figure out what is a suitable theme?
Which one did you choose for example, just to try it out if it would be suitable for my issue as well
