Hey I am having some trouble with the xfce-pulseaudio-plugin
Now I checked the notification settings, and it is enabled, and if I click on Mute in the plugin, a notification does popup.
Thanks for any help!

What is the problem that you are having? Are you not seeing the volume change notifications?
Do you have xfce4-volumed or xfce4-volumed-pulse running? If not, can you fire them up and see if that solves the problem?

On my system, I have xfce4-volumed-pulse (because I have pulseaudio installed). I removed it and the pulseaudio plugin wasn't able to generate the notifications. Probably a bug. Try installing xfce4-volumed-pulse (or xfce4-volumed if you're not using pulseaudio) and see if it helps.

Yep that fixed it! Last time when I used it, it didn't seem to work...
Thanks!
